A Day At The Beach.
This is a series of pictures taken of the Harneds, Morelands and some other families and friends during a trip down to Crab Meadow Beach, or near there. It's thought that the photographs date to between 1903 - 1910.
The Harneds and Morelands joined through a double marriage stand with the rest of their group at the Harned barns near the house on New Highway.
Here the two wagons make their way along the sandy trail and scrub pines as the party nears the beach on this special day out.
Having arrived at the beach the group gathers for another picture of every one together with the flag.
