General Store- The Werles owned the general store from 1925 - 1946. They added the brick front and gas pumps when they took over the store.

Blacksmith Shop - The Irelands were living on Commack Road during the 1800's and had their Blacksmith and Wheel-wright shop next to each other.

Schools - The first school was on Burr Road and then moved to Jericho. A few years later a second school was built on the south side. Then in 1900 the frame school was built.

Methodist Church - Commack is home to the oldest Methodist Church in New York.

A Day At The Beach - This series of photographs follows a group of friends by wagon from the Harneds farm to Crab Meadow Beach.

Fire Department - Founded in 1908 Commack's fire department has grown along with the community around it.

Brindley Field - During World War One an air-field was built near Jericho and Larkfield Road to train pilots for the war.
